These Terms govern your use of the RIME Cleaning Co. website and the services booked through it. RIME LLC (“RIME Cleaning Co.,” “we,” “us”) operates a platform that connects you with vetted, independent professional cleaning businesses and manages your booking, communication, quality documentation, and payment. By requesting a quote or booking a service, you agree to these Terms.
Who performs the work
Cleaning services are performed by independent professional cleaning businesses (“crews”) that are vetted, background-checked, and insured, and that choose which jobs to accept. When a crew accepts your booking, your contract for the cleaning itself forms directly with that crew, and RIME Cleaning Co. collects payment on the crew’s behalf — paying RIME Cleaning Co. fully satisfies what you owe the crew. RIME Cleaning Co. provides the platform around that work — booking, scheduling, communication, photo verification, and payment — and separately stands behind its own promise programs in these Terms (the guarantee, on-time credit, and price-approval promises are RIME Cleaning Co. programs).
Quotes & pricing
Instant quotes are estimates generated from the job details and photos you provide, using automated (AI-assisted) tools. Pricing is based only on the scope of the job — size, rooms, condition, frequency, access, and add-ons — never on personal or demographic characteristics. Quoted prices are honored for the period stated with your quote.
Your price can never change without your approval. If a crew arrives and the job is materially larger than described, we may send you a photo and a proposed adjusted price. You choose with one tap: approve the new price for the full scope, or keep the original price for the original scope. If you do nothing, the original price stands. You will never be charged more than you approved.
Any peak-day, rush, or service & support fee is shown before you book or approve — the price you see always includes what you will pay.
Payment
A card on file is required for most bookings and is charged only after a visit is completed. We use Stripe to process payments; we do not store your card number. Account credits (referral, promotional, or goodwill) apply to your charges automatically. Receipts are emailed and available in your account portal.
Scheduling, cancellations & access
You may reschedule, skip, pause, or cancel visits in your account portal. Please give at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations; late cancellations or a crew’s inability to access the property at the scheduled time may incur a fee of up to [50% of the visit price — counsel/ops to confirm]. Recurring plans renew visit-to-visit until you cancel, pause, or skip; you can cancel online in your portal at any time, with no cancellation fee for future visits — your plan, your control.
Our promises
Photo-verified work: every visit is documented with before-and-after photos, reviewed by automated quality control, and available in your account.
On time or $15 off: if your crew starts materially later than scheduled, a $15 credit is applied to your account automatically — you don’t have to ask.
Free re-clean guarantee: if something isn’t right, tell us within 72 hours and we will re-clean the affected areas free of charge. The guarantee covers re-cleaning; refunds are handled case-by-case and where required by law.
Photos & your privacy at home
Job photos exist to verify the work for you. They are never used in marketing unless you separately opt in at booking, and our systems automatically withhold from any marketing use photos that show faces, documents, screens, or personal items. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Property damage
Crews are insured. If you believe a visit caused damage, report it within 48 hours through your account portal (“Report an issue”) or by contacting us; include photos where possible. We coordinate resolution between you and the crew’s insurance where applicable. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, normal wear, inherently fragile or improperly secured items, or areas that are not reasonably safe or accessible to clean. Please secure valuables in advance.
Gift cards & prepaid credit
Gift cards and prepaid credit packs never expire and carry no inactivity fees. They are redeemable for services only, are not redeemable for cash except where required by law, and are not replaceable if the claim code is shared. Promotional bonus credit included with a purchase may carry stated conditions.
Referral program
Referral credits are earned when a new customer you referred completes their first paid visit, and apply automatically to your future charges. Self-referrals, duplicate accounts, or abuse void the credits. We may modify or end the program prospectively at any time; earned credits remain yours.
RIME+ membership
RIME+ schedules seasonal exterior services automatically at the stated member discount. Each scheduled visit is confirmed with you before dispatch, and you may skip any visit or cancel the membership at any time in your portal. Membership itself is free; you pay only for completed visits.
Communications & AI assistance
Some calls and messages to our business line are answered by an AI assistant, which can provide quotes and booking help; you can always ask for a human. Quality and support review may include automated analysis of messages and job photos.
Text message (SMS) program terms
Program: RIME Clean appointment updates. When you provide your mobile number, RIME LLC may send you service-related text messages such as booking confirmations, appointment reminders, "crew on the way" alerts, completion notices, and payment receipts. Message frequency varies with your service activity. Message and data rates may apply.
Opt out: reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe at any time. Help: reply HELP, email [email protected], or call (804) 621-7225. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information — mobile information is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
Acceptable use
You agree to provide accurate booking information, to maintain a safe working environment (including securing pets during service where needed), and not to solicit crews to perform platform-introduced work off-platform. Crews are likewise restricted from soliciting platform-introduced customers off-platform — the guarantee, insurance, and photo verification only exist on-platform.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law: our aggregate liability for any claim relating to a service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the visit(s) giving rise to the claim or $500; and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Disputes
We want to fix problems, not litigate them — please use “Report an issue” first; a human reviews every report. Otherwise, these Terms are governed by Virginia law, and disputes will be resolved by [binding arbitration before a single arbitrator in Richmond, Virginia, on an individual (non-class) basis / the courts of Chesterfield County, Virginia — COUNSEL TO FINALIZE enforceable consumer arbitration and class-waiver language, including any required opt-out].
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new “updated” date, and continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
